Maximalism is coming back in full swing as younger people begin to buy and rent spaces, as they discover YK2, and 70’s fashion. As a younger person myself I actually go against the grain in the love of this style. I sit back five years when minimalism was in full swing. There is nothing I love more than minimalist fashion and trends, especially as a Christian who is called to not fill my life with meaningless items. Having a clean, open space that is filled with people, memories, love and organization over material items is my preferred way to go! I know there is people who share my sentiment. So here is seven beautiful minimalist bedroom looks for inspiration.
–
Walnuts & Whites
The bright whites with hints of copper in the lamp and even the light walnut shades is such a classic minimalistic look. Of all the minimalist bedroom looks, this one looks the most clean.

- Bedside Table:
- No Drawer (This one is harder to match, if you don’t like this one Amazon has so many other options for round tables).
- White Bedding:
- Rose Gold Lamp
- Option One
- Option Two– Most Similar
- White Vases
- Sea Coral Decor
Clean and Organized Autumn
By far this is my favorite of the seven looks. Natural light wood, with dark red and orange accents is so warming. It reminds me of Autumn. Imagine falling leaves, a hot cup of tea, and the sound of rain on the roof tops. That is exactly the feel that comes off this bedroom look. Clean but cozy. White but earthy.
- Bed Frame:
- Many towns have at least one store that gives away pallets. Many people sell them on the Facebook Marketplace as well.
- Though here is an Amazon Floor Bed Frame

- Area Rug:
- Woven Baskets:
Wheat, Whites & Creams
Option three for minimalist bedroom looks is this beautiful color scheme. This looks is extremely neutral in appearance, but still has an earthy undertone with slight gold, dark purples and reds in the bed. A really stunning and gentle bedroom and would make for a great guest bedroom look because of its welcoming feel and clean design.

A Cream Cottage
I love this one as well. The soft tones and textures of this inspiration just makes me want to cuddle up in bed to a good book. This is a gentle minimalist look, that still visually looks comforting but clean and minimal. The amount of pillows may not scream minimalism, but honestly being a minimalist myself, pillows is the one thing I splurge on.
- Bed Frame
- Curtains
- Bedding
- Pillows
- Bed Side Lamp
Blank Canvas Small Greens
This look screams minimalism to the extreme. Bed on the floor, not frame. No bedside table, not one trinket. A bed with white sheets, on a pallet, with two plants to keep it company. This is beautiful minimalism.
- Bed
- As I said earlier you can generally find pallets somewhere in town, most companies give pallets away.
- Here is a similar option in true bed frame form.
- Bedding
- Green Plants
- Can find in local Department Stores, Grocery Stores, Nurseries, & Home Improvement Stores
- Basket for Plant
Maximalist Minimalist
This look is closer to where I am at in my minimalism journey. Still having items to fill the room but on a small scale and nothing is over crowding or over crowded. Only a few decorative pieces that are small and only in sections of the room to still reveal the minimal look.
- Bedding
- Bench
- Side Table
- Shelf
- Shutters
Cozy Clean Morning
Again, another favorite. Unlike the first of the minimalist bedroom looks with plants this one has a nice addition with the colored comforter. It has depth, peace, and character to the room. You would feel more at ease in a room that wasn’t entirely white. I appreciate the simple accent adding ease. Another room you would lay in bed and drink tea in as you listen to the rain fall.
